Practice Information.
The practice was established by my father Charles
Steer, when he left a group practice in Kingston in
1959. The practice at that time was exclusively a
private practice, bit since 1993 a small NHS list
has been established.
I aim to provide a broad range of good quality primary
care both in the NHS and private sector.
We aim to run a personal and readily available service,
to which end we have not set aside times for specific
clinics, as we believe that it is more convenient
that all services are available during normal surgeries.
Mrs
Bee Hooper RGN our nurse, works here on Monday and
Wednesday mornings.
She is available for cervical smears and contraceptive
advice and checks. She also runs asthma, cardiovascular
and diabetic monitoring clinics.
New
Patients - may register by direct application
to the surgery.
We
ask that all new patients make an
appointment for a healthcheck with either the nurse
or one of the doctors.
Disabled
access - The surgery is on the ground floor
and can be accessed by the smaller wheelchair, though
help will be needed to get over the step (There is
no disabled toilet)
